below you’ll find 8 examples of my work along with a description/reflection for each piece.
thanks for checking out my work!
i’ve been able to use my knowledge of how to advertise a brand to advertise my photography services to brides and grooms and i’ve been lucky enough to shoot over 40 weddings in my college career. my wedding work has also won national awards at WPPI and in other competitions.
one of the most rewarding experiences is being able to take the skills i learned at UNL with photography and help other UNL students. here is brittany leigh, a vocal performance major at unl. she released her first album through the college of fine and performing arts and asked me to photograph her album cover.
i love photographing dancers. this was part of my nebraska dance project and this dance portrait of ben rivera and sally glaze won a top score at the WPPI print competition, one of the most prestigious print competitions in the nation.
my power and lines photo series won a gold ADDY at this year’s nebraska ADDY’s competition and also won the best of show and will go on to compete at nationals.
my guiding light photo series won a gold ADDY at this year’s nebraska ADDY’s event and was created as my final project for a photography class at UNL with professor peon-casanova.
i was hired by starbucks coffee to create a fun and fresh lifestyle based portrait. this image was seen nationally on starbucks’ social media and in print in popular magazines.
here are some examples of some of the design work i have done at unl for adpr 333 and adpr 447. i concepted the design and implimented my photography to create digital art.
the last piece was work commissioned by husker athletics for the UNL men’s basketball team. this photo set challenged me creatively, is some of my favorite work i have ever done and now is being implemented in all of the men’s basketball print and ad promotion materials. this photo set also won a gold addy at this year’s nebraska ADDY’s.
